Best Way to See the Island: Bicycle
Key West is only 2 miles wide and 4 miles long. It is quite small….so just park your car and leave it! Historic town or “Old Town” is the prettiest area for sightseeing. It is where the original Key West homes in the gingerbread style can be found, along with cute little shops, galleries, great restaurants with water views and most of all the bed and breakfasts.
The best way to enjoy the island is either walking or taking a leisurely bike ride. Alexander’s has them available for rent per day, so just let us know and we will be happy to arrange that for you.
