At Alexander’s Guesthouse, our motto is “Love Wins”! And now, the courts agree! Everyone is free to marry the partner of their choice! Alexander’s has been an LGBTQA+ Guesthouse since 1982! Although predominantly Gay & Lesbian, our doors have always been open to those who support equality and are friends of the LGBTQA+ Community!
If you are planning a intimate wedding, commitment, or renewal-of-vows ceremony, Alexander’s would like to be your host, and your guide to a beautiful Key West Celebration! We offer two types of wedding packages where the ceremony can be held at Alexander's or Smather’s Beach.
Our wedding packages begin at $500, and include everything from a choice of beach or hotel ceremony location, the services of an officiant, cake, flowers, and a champagne to celebrate your special day. Our wedding packages are designed to make your day easy and magical.
Please note, we are a small guesthouse, therefore we are only able to host small weddings.

At Alexander’s, we love sharing in your very special day. Because we are quite a small property, we only host small weddings such as elopements or small groups, usually 2-10 guests maximum. All guests must be staying at the guesthouse.
For larger weddings, we can gladly recommend places in Key West that can easily meet all of your wedding needs.

Please note that all couples are responsible for obtaining their own marriage license prior to the wedding. For residents of Florida it must be applied for a minimum of at least 3 days prior to the wedding date, and for non-Florida residents, it can be obtained same day during normal business hours.
However, it is always best to give yourself time and apply at least the day before.
